Student Care Centre Closure 2019

Dear Parents,

              A closure memo was issued earlier with a tentative date for our annual teacher’s training. We have confirmed our training date. Please refer to this updated closure memo. This year, we have the opportunity to partner Mr Henry Tan in the training of our teachers on Advanced Counselling Skills for SCC Support. He has been an adjunct lecturer for over 10 years and also has a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Advancement (ACTA). As a member of the Singapore Counselling Association (SAC), Mr Henry Tan is also certified to conduct personality tests such as DISC and TJTA. With his vast experience in counselling and psychology, he will be guiding our teachers in advanced counselling methods to provide a more conducive environment for students’ learning and growth.

Student Care Service Information

1.         About Pro-Teach

Pro-Teach began operations in 1998, providing quality student care and education for children between the ages of 7 and 12 years old. We aim to provide children of Ai Tong School with a diverse education in an environment that promotes self-discipline, character development and excellence in learning. We have more than 30 branches nationwide.

At Pro-Teach, we awaken possibilities through nurturing cognitive growth, emotional wisdom and physical wellness. We ensure that our students are stimulated, interested and growing. Our students are provided with enrichment programmes that support social, physical, emotional and moral development as we believe these elements are integral to a holistic education.

2.         Admission Criteria

School-based SCC primarily caters to children from needy families. It provides care support to children without adequate home support outside school hours. The following is the admission criteria for the SCC in Ai Tong School:

a)     Singapore Citizen

b)     Priority given to students under the MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS)

c)     Both parents or single parent must be employed

d)     Siblings

3.         Operating Hours

School Term

Mon – Fri        12:00pm to 7:00pm  

School Holidays

Mon – Fri        7:30am to 7:00pm
